UM, Harbin Institute of Technology sign various collaboration agreements to deepen collaboration on talent development and research innovation

On August 9, the University of Macau (UM) and the Harbin Institute of Technology held an agreement signing ceremony online. During the event, UM Rector Yonghua Song and Harbin Institute of Technology President Han Jiecai signed a strategic collaboration framework agreement, a postgraduate recommended direct admission to UM agreement, and a student exchange agreement. According to the agreements, both universities will deepen collaboration on talent development, academic and research activities, and library resource sharing. Both universities agreed to launch student exchange activities and explore the establishment of joint PhD and dual degree programmes. The two universities will also further strengthen academic and research collaboration in the fields of basic medicine, pharmacology, computer science, materials science, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence and robotics, and mathematics.
