The UM Macao Talent Programme has established the UM Postdoctoral Fellowship and Associateship to encourage postdoctoral researchers to conduct academic research at the university, with the aim of not only nurturing more high-quality research professionals, but also enhancing the international competitiveness of research studies at UM and promoting industry-academia collaboration, in order to advance moderate economic diversification of Macao.
