The University of Macau (UM) Badminton Team recently won ten medals at 2021 Macau Higher Education Institute Badminton Competition. The awards include gold medals in all categories of the event, including men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, as well as four silver medals, and a bronze medal. The UM team also won its sixth consecutive overall championship at this competition. This year’s competition attracted badminton teams from seven universities, namely UM, the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, Macao Polytechnic Institute, the City University of Macau, the University of Saint Joseph, the Macau University of Science and Technology, and the Academy of Public Security Forces.
