In order to enhance public understanding of smart tourism, the University of Macau’s (UM) Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) today (13 Jan) held the Smart Tourism Symposium 2021: Macau Smart City Initiative: Opportunities and Challenges for the Tourism Industry. Representatives from the Macau Government Tourism Office, Zhuhai Cultural, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau (ZCRTTSB), the tourism industry, and UM attended the event to discuss the current issues and opportunities in Macao’s tourism industry.
