A delegation from Tsinghua University, led by the university’s Party Secretary Chen Xu, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Prof Yonghua Song, rector of UM. Both parties had an in-depth discussion on higher education and scientific research. Rector Song shared UM’s latest developments with the guests, saying that UM will continue to step up its efforts in scientific research, industry-academia collaboration, training of high-calibre professionals, and internationalisation of the institution. Chen praised UM’s achievements in teaching and research and expressed her hope for broader collaboration between Tsinghua University and UM.
