This year marks the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to China. Earlier this year, the State Council also released the Outline of Strategies for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In response, the University of Macau (UM) today (2 June) held a forum on industry-academia collaboration in the Greater Bay Area in the mainland city of Hangzhou. Participants had in-depth discussions on how to strengthen communication and collaboration between UM and universities and businesses in Hangzhou, how to promote industry-academia collaboration in Macao and mainland China, and other related topics.
