UM wins 3 golds, 1 silver, 3 bronzes at winter track and field competition

The University of Macau’s (UM) Track and Field Team recently won three gold medals, one silver medal, and three bronze medals at a local winter track and field competition.

In the men’s open category, Lin Zesheng from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and Lui Chi Woo College won gold medals in both the 100-metre and the 200-metre categories. Wong Ieong Kin from the FST and Chao Kuang Piu College (CKPC) won a gold medal in the 400-metre category. Hoi Ka Chong from the FST and Shiu Pong College won bronze medals in both the 800-metre and the 1500-metre categories.

In the women’s open category, Cheong Im Leng from the Faculty of Education and Stanley Ho East Asia College won a silver medal in the 100-metre category. Chen Shih Ching from the Faculty of Business Administration and CKPC won a bronze medal in the shot put category.
