Three teams from the University of Macau (UM), namely Macau BayLife Technology Co Ltd, Computational Pharmaceutics-Artificial Intelligence in Formulation Design, and Barra Studio, recently won the first prize, second prize, and third prize, respectively, in the Bank of China Trophy One Million Dollar Macao Regional Entrepreneurship Competition. The winners will advance to the grand final to be held in August.
The One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition was launched in 2011 by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with the aim of discovering the best business proposal. This year’s regional competitions are held in Hong Kong, Macao, Zhongshan, Foshan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Beijing. The Macao regional competition was sponsored by the Bank of China (Macau Branch).
