In September 2009 UM participated in the education roaming infrastructure (EDUROAM), becoming Macao’s first coordinating institution for this project. Participation in EDUROAM will facilitate academic exchange and scientific research because it will enable UM’s academics and students to have wireless network access using the same credentials when they are visiting other academic institutions around the world.
