UM holds seminar on Jia Pingwa’s works

The University of Macau (UM) held a seminar on the works of Jia Pingwa, a renowned writer and honorary doctor of UM. Co-organised by UM’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature, the Macau Association of Literary and Artistic Critics, and UM’s Research Centre for Humanities in South China, the event attracted more than 40 experts, scholars, and PhD students from Shaanxi province, Shanghai, Jiangsu province, Guangdong province, Sichuan province, and Macao, as well as UM faculty members, students, and members of the general public. During the event, participants exchanged ideas on Jia’s literary works and career.
