UM holds second event of Internet + Finance Series

The second event of the Internet + Finance Series, co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) and the Bank of China Macau Branch, was held today (13 October) at UM. Prof Jerome Yen, director (internet finance) of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Company Limited, gave a talk on how artificial intelligence can help to support systematic investing. Fang Wei, general manager of the E-Finance Department of the Bank of China Macau Branch, gave another talk on internet finance from a practical perspective. The talks attracted many representatives from the financial sector, experts, scholars, faculty members, students, and members of the general public.
