The University of Macau (UM) on 7 June will hold an exhibition to showcase the business plans of the 12 teams shortlisted for the semi-final of the One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition (Macao Regional Competition). The competition was founded by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2011. This year’s Macao Regional Competition was sponsored by the Bank of China Macau and attracted 45 teams of local university students. The top three teams in the regional final will compete with the other finalists for the big prize of one million as the start-up fund.
The exhibition will start at 2:00pm, in Room 1001, Student Activity Centre (E31), UM. An elevator pitch session will start at 3:30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend the event and vote for their favourite teams. For enquiries, please call 8822 9903 or email to scd.career@um.edu.mo.
