A delegation from the University of Macau (UM), led by University
Council Chair Dr Lam Kam Seng, recently visited the Chinese Educators
Association of Macau (CEAM). Both parties exchanged ideas on education
development in Macao and discussed opportunities for future collaboration
between higher education institutions and secondary schools. During the
meeting, CEAM President Ho Sio Kam praised UM for its consistently increasing international
rankings in recent years. She also expressed her hope that UM will continue to produce
high-calibre professionals to meet the needs of the Macao society. Members of
UM’s delegation included Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Lionel
Ni, Faculty of Education Dean Fan Xitao, and Rector’s Office Director Sylvia
Ieong.
