University of Macau (UM) students recently swept all 12 prizes in the university category at a paper airplane contest in Macao.
Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) students Ma Ieng, Lao Chi Fai, and Chan Ngai Hang won the top three prizes in the longest distance (individual) category. Lao, another FST student Sio Pak Lok, and Ma also won the top three prizes in the longest airtime (individual) category. Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Law won all prizes in the group category. In addition, FST student U Kin Lok won the championship at a local aerobatic paper plane contest.
This year’s contest attracted more than 200 students from 28 higher education institutions and secondary schools in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. The event was organised by the Macao Innovation and Invention Association.
