A delegation formed by heads of hospitals and medical schools in Taiwan recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao and Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Haydn Chen. Rector Zhao told the guests about UM’s ‘4-in-1’ model of education and residential college system. During the visit, members of the delegation visited laboratories in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, and Lui Che Woo College. The guests praised UM for its research achievements in the fields of health sciences and Chinese medical sciences.
