UM holds talk on technology’s impact on academic libraries

The University of Macau (UM) Library recently organised the 18^th lecture of the Library Professional Development Seminar Series, in an effort to enhance the skills and knowledge of librarians from Macao. The lecture was titled ‘The Integration of Technology, Content, and Global Collaboration in this Social-Media Digital Age: Challenges to Libraries’ Prof Chen Ching-chih, a professor emerita from the Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science, was the keynote speaker.
