The University of Macau’s (UM) Choi Kai Yau College (CKYC) recently arranged for its college members to participate in a service learning and leadership programme in Vietnam and Singapore. 16 CKYC students, led by residential fellows Dr Qi Yaning and Dr Poon Kiu Tung, provided English lessons for local primary school students and helped to build six reservoirs at An Hiep Village in Vietnam. Later, the CKYC members visited the College of Alice and Peter Tan of the National University of Singapore and shared their volunteer experiences with the Singaporean students.
