The University of Macau’s (UM) Mandarin Debating Team recently won the overall championship and two Best Debater Awards at the ‘MPI Cup’ Putonghua Debating Competition. The competition attracted debating teams from four local higher education institutions, including UM, the Macau University of Science and Technology, Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI), and the City University of Macau. The event was organised by MPI’s Mandarin Debating Team.
