The University of Macau (UM) recently held a seminar on the institution of awards and funds for the publication of Chinese fiction in Macao. The event was co-organised by UM’s Department of Chinese Language and Literature and Wen-Hsun Magazine in Taiwan. Participants in the seminar included Pen of Macau President Lei Kung Teng, Wen-Hsun Magazine Editor-in-Chief Feng De-Ping and Director Yang Tsung-Han, the famous poet Fu Tian Hong, Department of Chinese Language and Literature Head Zhu Shoutong, professors Gong Gang, Yao Jingming, and Dr Cheang Neng Ian.
