The University of Macau (UM) recently held a conference to discuss the cross-strait relations after the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) held in Beijing and Taiwan’s 2014 local elections. Approximately 20 scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan attended the conference. The event was co-organised by UM’s Institute of Global and Public Affairs and Chengchi University’s Centre for Strategy and International Security Studies.
