The University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) today (11 December) held its first open day, in an attempt to increase public understanding of the FHS and draw public attention to the development of biomedical sciences in Macao. On the open day, the FSH showcased its academic and research achievements and provided guided tours of some of its laboratories for visitors. Three distinguished scientists were invited to the open day to speak on related topics. The open day attracted heads from numerous local universities and secondary schools.
