Two students from the University of Macau’s (UM) Track and Field Team recently won two championships in the women’s 400-metre category and 800-metre category at a national inter-varsity track and field competition. The event was organised by the Chinese Athletic Association and hosted by Tsinghua University and the Beijing Sport University, with assistance from the Federation of University Sports of China. The competition attracted over 1,200 student athletes from 120 universities in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. This is the first time that UM has participated in this competition.
