UM’s PhD student wins two prizes at national poetry competition

A PhD Student from the University of Macau (UM) Department of Chinese, Hu Shanbin, recently won two prizes at the Chinese Postgraduate Poetry Competition 2014. This is the third consecutive year that a student from UM’s Department of Chinese has received a prize in this poetry competition. The competition attracted more than 500 students from over 130 universities around the world, including Peking University, Fudan University, Taiwan University, UM, the State University of New York, and Kyoto University.
