A delegation from the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, led by Prime Minister Rui Duarte Barros, today (7 November) visited the University of Macau (UM) and its new campus. The delegation was warmly received by UM’s Vice Rector (Research) Prof. Rui Martins, Director of the Rector’s Office Prof. Ieong Sao Leng, and Director of the Communications Office Ms. Katrina Cheong. Prof. Martins told the delegation about the latest developments of the university and the new campus. Prime Minister Rui Duarte Barros showed great interest in UM’s future development, particularly in new campus facilities and curriculum. Later both sides exchanged ideas on the development of higher education in Macao and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
