The University of Macau (UM) Honours College (HC) on 18 September held an admission ceremony to welcome 47 new members, all of whom are top students drawn from the various faculties. UM provides special, tailor-made courses for HC students in addition to the courses of their chosen areas of study to help them develop leadership skills and achieve full potential. HC students will also have the opportunity to study abroad at well-known universities for one semester to gain international experience. HC Dean Prof. Mok notes that the previous two cohorts of HC graduates have done very well academically and professionally, with some receiving offers from renowned universities like Oxford and multi-national companies like Ernst&Young.
