For students, summer means a long holiday. But
for graduating university students, it’s also a time to say goodbye to their
alma mater and their dear friends. Last weekend, many graduating students of
the University of Macau (UM) returned to the campus along with their family and
friends to take graduation photos.
The hot weather didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of
the students. Dressed in graduation gowns, with flowers and stuffed toys in
hand, students took turns taking photos in front of the Confucius Statue, the
Nine Dragon Wall, and the University Library, which are all popular
photo-taking spots on the campus. Excitement about graduation and the prospect
of starting a new chapter of life was written all over their faces.
