Elvo So, head of the Student Counselling and Development Section, Student Affairs Office, University of Macau (UM), recently led a 32-people delegation comprised of members of the Mandarin Debating Team and the Mandarin Debate Society, on a trip to Wu Han, where UM students had friendly debate matches with their counterparts from several local universities. Participants said that the visit achieved the intended purposes and helped them to gain valuable experience that they believe will be useful for their participation in an international debate competition to be held in the summer holiday. Participants also expressed their thanks to the Tertiary Education Services Office of Macao SAR as well as UM for their support.
