Today (6 December), Prof Chih-Yung Chien, chair professor at Chengchi University, Taiwan, and professor at Johns Hopkins University, gave a lecture entitled “Where are we going?” at the University of Macau (UM). Prof. Chien discussed how the universe came into being and the relationship between mankind and nature. The lecture attracted a large number of UM staff and students. University Council Chair Dr. Tse Chi Wai, Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof. Haydn Chen, Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Fan Xitao, Dean of Students Dr. Peter Yu and Registrar Paul Pang also attended the lecture.
