The University of Macau’s Congregation 2012 will take place at Macao Forum on 18 June (Monday). The event will begin at 16:00. Chief Executive of Macao SAR and UM Chancellor Dr. Chui Sai On will preside over the ceremony.
According to UM, graduates are required to collect the seat card at the Registration Desk at Macao Forum on the said date between 14:00 and 14:45. Latecomers will be denied seat cards. All participating graduates are required to be seated by 15:00, after which certificate presentation demonstrations and rehearsals will be conducted.
Those who have confirmed the need to rent graduation gowns are required to complete on-site rental formalities and return the gowns by 19:00 on the same day. Due to the lack of parking spaces near the event venue, participants are encouraged to use public transport where possible.
UM will send out the notification letter soon. If you fail to receive the letter by the end of May, please contact our colleague at 83974819 or 83974841. Also, UM plans to hold the Ceremony for the Conferment of Honorary Degrees and Higher Degrees 2012 in October or November. Details will be announced in due course.
