Representatives from the Tertiary Education Services Office of Macao SAR, including director Sou Chio Fai and deputy director Sílvia Ribeiro Osório Ho, lately visited the University of Macau (UM) and had in-depth discussions with UM’s rector and vice rectors about the long-term development of higher education in Macao. Both parties agreed to make an effort to revise the laws on higher education in order to enhance the quality of teaching and research at local institutions of higher education.
