Three PhD students of the Univrsity of Macau (UM), led by Prof. Zhu Shoutong, postgraduate programme coordinator of the Department of Chinese, lately took part in the First Intercollegiate Conference on History and Society in East Asia. Ou Yang Yanhua from the Department of Chinese and Ma Guang from the Department of History received the best paper awards. At the conference, UM ranked No. 1 in terms of best paper acceptance rate.
