The University of Macau (UM) today (1 December) held the Ceremony for the Conferment of Honorary and Higher Degrees 2018. At the ceremony, UM awarded scholarships and academic prizes to 38 outstanding postgraduates. This year, UM awarded more than 60 scholarships and academic prizes worth MOP 4 million to over 400 students.
At the ceremony, 12 kinds of scholarships and academic prizes were presented. They are the Bank of China Scholarship, the Frank Wong Foundation Scholarship, the Luso International Bank Scholarship, the FED Scholarship for Outstanding Teaching Assistant, the FED Scholarship for Outstanding MEd Thesis, the FED Scholarship for Outstanding Postgraduate Research Outcomes, the Hendra Nagaria Scholarship, the UO Group Scholarship, the MGM Elite Scholarship, the IEEM Scholarship, the IEEM Academic Prize, and the Synopsys Academic Prize.
This year, UM awarded the scholarships and academic prizes on different occasions, including the graduation ceremony, the convocation ceremony, and the scholarship presentation ceremony.
