A delegation led by Wei Xiaodong, secretary of the leading party members’ group of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and chairman of the committee, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by Lam Kam Seng, chair of the University Council of UM; Mok Kai Meng, a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and vice rector of UM; and Rui Martins, vice rector of UM. During the visit, Lam introduced UM’s history, academic structure, campus facilities, and direction of future development to the guests. Members of the delegation spoke highly of UM’s development, as well as its achievements in research and student development. The delegation visited the UM Gallery, State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College, and UM Wu Yee Sun Library.
