A delegation from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, led by its president Ye Meilan, visited the University of Macau (UM) on 11 Nov and was warmly received by Rector Yonghua Song. In the company of Lau Wai Meng, director of the Post and Telecommunications Bureau, the delegation visited the University Gallery, during which Rector Song told the guests about UM’s history, academic structure, campus facilities, development direction, and the four characteristics that make UM a unique university. The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (IOTSC) and the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (AMS-VLSI) and was welcomed by IOTSC Assistant Director Ma Shaodan and AMS-VLSI Associate Director Mak Pui In, respectively. Ma and Mak told the guests about the labs’ research achievements.
