The third leadership training course for civil servants, co-organised by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau and the University of Macau (UM), began yesterday (16 September). Cheong Wing Chun, secretary for administration and justice, attended the opening ceremony. The course is an off-the-job training programme that aims to nurture more managerial personnel for the SAR government. The first and the second courses were successfully held in the first half of 2020 and 2021, respectively. This third course will last for three months and has attracted 30 civil servants from different government departments, all of whom were recommended by their departments and supervising entities.
