21 students from the University of Macau’s (UM) Shiu Pong College (SPC), led by College Master Kenneth Leung, participated in a service learning trip to Shanxi. The trip included volunteer teaching in a local school and visits to the elderly’s homes and the ancient city of Pingyao. Bo’ai School, where the students conducted volunteer teaching, is a charity school that has been receiving support from the SPC for the past few years. So far, the SPC has organised two service learning trips and two fundraisers for the school.
