A 12-member delegation from the University of Macau (UM) Lui Che Woo College (LCWC), led by LCWC Associate Master Dr Tony Chan and an administrative staff member, recently visited Tsing Hua University and Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan to learn more about student life in Taiwan. During the visit, members of a college at Tsing Hua University organsied an evening gathering for UM students. Students of the two universities also exchanged ideas on current issues and higher education in Taiwan.
Students from Kaohsiung Medical University also organised a series of activities for the UM delegation, including a discussion on current issues, a day tour of Kaohsiung’s Jiasian district, a Free Hugs activity, and a city exploration activity. The UM students also visited a village heavily damaged by a typhoon and learned about how the villagers rebuilt their homes after the natural disaster.
