The 15th Lecture of the Liberal Arts Learning Series, entitled “My Mind Remains the Same in Times of Turbulence”, was held recently at the University of Macau (UM). Ms. Xu Xiaobin, a famous Chinese writer and playwright, was the keynote speaker. She shared her life experiences with the audience, and also commented on several novels written by UM students and encouraged them to keep writing in order to become better writers. Organised by UM’s Student Affairs Office and chaired by UM’s Cheng Yu Tung College Master Prof. Chung Ling, the lecture attracted many faulty members and students.
