A delegation from the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, which is the donor of the University of Macau’s (UM) Cheng Yu Tung College, visited UM’s new campus on 24 January. Ms. Miranda Chan, project manager of the foundation, praised the new campus for its elegant buildings and beautiful environment. She also agreed with the college’s long-term goal, which is to help students achieve well-rounded development.
The delegation, which included Ms. Chan and Ms. Alvita Cheung, project officer of the foundation, and other members, were warmly received by College Master Prof. Chung Ling, Director of the Alumni and Development Office Dr. Vong Peng Chun, as well as faculty and students from the college. The delegation were given a guided tour of the various facilities of the college, including the gym room, the study room, the dining hall, the library, the student TV room, the pantry, and the bedrooms.
The visit ended with a tea session with student representatives Ou Jian and Shi Jialing, as well as the resident fellows.
