The University of Macau (UM)’s Swimming Team won six gold medals, eight silver medals, and ten bronze medals at a swimming championship for Macao’s university students. First-year student and member of the Macao Swimming Team Tan Chi Yan broke the game’s record in the women’s individual 100-metre free style category and walked away with four gold medals and one silver medal. It was the first time Tan Chi Yan competed in the capacity as UM’s student.
The competition was co-organised by the Macau Universitarian Sports Association and the Swimming Association of Macau.
