The University of Macau (UM) Reporter Programme was officially launched in this February. Yesterday (10 April) Katrina Cheong, director of the Communications Office, Kathy Che, head of the Public Relations Section, and Kris Chi, functional head of publications, led 16 UM Reporters to visit the headquarters of the Macao Daily News. The UM delegation met with Mr. Lok Po, director and chief editor of Macao Daily News, and visited the various departments to learn about their operations. The visit not only enhanced the UM Reporters’ knowledge of how the local press operates, but also reinforced their identity as a reporter.
