A 44-people delegation comprised of teachers and
students of the Hong Kong True Light College and volunteers of the Partners
Education Foundation visited the University of Macau (UM) on 19 January. The
delegation took a group photo in front of UM’s landmark Nine Dragon Wall and listened
to UM Student Ambassadors explaining the general information about UM, before
they were given a guided tour of the campus. When asked about their impression
of UM at the end of the visit, a student from the Hong Kong True Light College
said: “UM has a complete set of campus facilities and lots of green plants, and
the students here lead a very healthy campus life.” The lady responsible for
organising the exchange visit, who is also a volunteer of the Partners
Education Foundation, described the activity as very enjoyable and added that
in the future the foundation will continue to arrange for Hong Kong secondary
school and primary school students to visit UM to further enhance communication
between Hong Kong and Macao students.
