Long summer holidays were over and everyone is absorbed in his/her busy workload. Have you ever thought of having a short trip to relax? Then Taipei would be a good choice. It takes only an hour and half to fly from Macao to Taipei.

A three-day package is the most economic means of travelling to Taipei. Costing around $1,800, this package includes a return air ticket with two nights hotel. You can choose which hotel you want to stay in and most of them are situated in downtown Taipei. You can arrange your travel schedule in your favourite time, no need to be controlled by a tour guide.

You may think that three days may not be enough for you to travel around whole Taipei, so you must choose some famous places to visit. For the first day, you can go to the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, which is situated in the central part of Taipei. You can go there either by taxi or subway. Then you can visit the Leofoo Village Theme Park. It takes one hour by bus from central Taipei to the Park.

For the second day, you can go to Jioufen. Situated at the top of a hill, it is a small old village featuring traditional culture. There are many small gift stores along the narrow streets. You can also taste a variety of famous Taipei food like "pineapple biscuits." The Peitou Hot Spring is the next destination where you can relax  by bathing in hot springs. The cost of a hot spring bath is not too expensive, around $100 for one person.

At night you can go to the Shrylin Night Market to pig out. There are around 100 different kinds of food stands in this night market with many famous Taipei delicacies. The "Pearl Milk Tea" is one of the famous drinks and the "Salt Fried Chicken" is a special dish.

In the last day, you can walk along the "Bookstore Street" or go shopping in big malls. There are more than 200 bookstores along this Street and you can find a large variety of books and comics. Many people go to Taipei mainly for book shopping.

Of course, to make the trip more enjoyable, go with friends. You can have a lot of happy times together in just three days and forget all your work-related stresses.
