"Hope's Likes Bug Bug Scene" binds parents and children

Adults may not bring their children to see the drama made for adults because children may not understand it. On the other hand, parents may feel bored when they watch the drama for children.

However, a drama entitled "Hope's Likes Bug Bug Scene" is designed for both parents and children watching together. The main theme of this drama is to emphasize the idea that it is important to build "a close relationship with children."

"I hope the parents not only watch the play with their children," Mok Siu Chong, director of the play, said, "but also think about the relationship with their children." He said that the drama is a way to educate both parents and children.

The story talks about the relationship between a girl, Yun Yun, and her father. The image of the father in daily life is not the same as Yun Yun expected in her mind. The story is around the hero in Yun Yun's mind, her father and the hero "Bug Bug Scene."

Mok explained that he did not have any target audience at the very beginning when he worked on the play. However, after writing the script, he found that the relationship between the girl and her father was the main element that he wanted to emphasize.

This drama is presented by Strawberry Fields, which is a non-profit organization formed this June by a group of art educators from different fields. The play will be staged during October 12-14 in the Macao Forum II.
