FST Week selects favourite teachers
By Mandy Siu

The Faculty of Science and Technology Students' Association (FSTSA) has just selected two of the most favourite professors in the faculty, Chen Jin and Raymond Cheng Che Man.

This was one of activities held in the annual FST Week from March 27 to 30, which was organized by FSTSA to foster a sense of belonging and community spirit among FST students. It brings to the students' attention that they belong to this special faculty which has many more activities for them to participate.

FSTSA has also produced a short video for the event featuring interviews with several students from both FST and other faculties who talk about their opinions of FST.

The students union started to plan this event last December; it took them three weeks to prepare all the necessary things.

"It's really taken a lot of time and effort of everyone who is involved in the preparation for this event and we have encountered many difficulties," says Candy Fok, president of FSTSA.

"We finished putting up all the decorations on March 24, but unfortunately it rained very heavily the next day. We were very depressed to find out that the decorations we made all fell apart, we had to make the decoration again on March 26," Fok said.

FST was founded in 1989 and has four majors: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering and Software Engineering. It also has Mathematics and Science groups.
