Senses of knowing

Current work in neuropsychology gives us reason to think that the physiological state of our body constrains what we can perceive and, plausibly, cognize. In this talk I will discuss some experiments that highlight the distinction between experience and judgment in relation to both exteroceptive and interoceptive perception and consider what these results might tell us in regard to the debate about self-knowledge and meta-cognition.
