The University of Macau’s (UM) men’s and women’s basketball teams both won a championship at the just-ended Macao Inter-varsity Basketball Competition. Several government officials watched the competition and highly praised the outstanding performance of participating teams. Prof. Haydn Chen, vice rector (student affairs) of UM, and Leung Shing On, acting director of the Office of Sports Affairs of UM, also went to the competition to show support for UM teams.
