The final of the talent show commemorating the 94th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement was recently held at UM’s Cultural Centre. The talent show was hosted by the China Mainland Students’ Association under the University of Macau Students’ Union, and was co-sponsored by the Tertiary Education Services Office of Macao SAR, Air Macau, Bank of China Macau Branch, and the Chessman Entertainment & Production Co. Ltd.
The talent show received a very positive response. A student from Chongqing University said that he loved the rich cultural atmosphere at UM and the talent show felt more like a fun party than a competition. A first-year student from the Department of Government and Public Administration at UM was especially impressed with the way the music and the lighting complement each other perfectly and the humorous MCs. The president of the China Mainland Students’ Association disclosed that preparations for the talent show started in January and they went through three rounds of selection in order to present a high-quality performance for the audience. He looks forward to moving to the new campus, saying that the much larger space on the new campus will make it possible to organise more high-quality activities.Should you have any enquiries about the information, please feel free to contact the Information Executives Ms.Lei or Ms Fok at(853)8397 4325 or prs.media@um.edu.mo or visit UM webpage www.umac.mo.
