UM places 3rd at national collegiate fencing competition

At the 19th National Collegiate Fencing Championships held in Shanghai, the University of Macau’s (UM) Fencing Team won two third prizes. The UM team also placed fourth in the Women’s Team Foil Group A category, and sixth in the Men’s Individual Foil Group A category.

The National Collegiate Fencing Championships is the highest-level fencing competition for college students in China. 28 teams from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao competed at this year’s event.
