A team of 14 students from the University of Macau (UM), other local higher education institutions, and secondary schools, visited the Philippines to perform volunteer work from 30 May to 15 June. Led by Dr Joseph Sy-Changco from UM’s Faculty of Business Administration, the students performed volunteer teaching and visited local hospitals and orphanages. While in Manila, they also visited the slums in Manila and interviewed poor families there.
